Uwaaah, I wanted to do so many things today and in the end did nothing T^T Well, only passed one of the exams, but that's quite a... blah =_= I still have two more exams this week and then two in January.
Ah! I've watched the whole playthrough of FFXIII and am now fangirling over Hope <3 Yes, my inner shota-cat is pleased =3 Other than that the game didn't impress me in the terms of gameplay and plot. Visuals are really astounding, but... It leaves a feeling of a long CG-movie for some reason interrupted by boring dungeons and repetitive battles. Or of a loooong marathon through linear locations, where you couldn't get lost even if you wanted to, with sometimes unnecessarily lengthy cutscenes and FMVs. No world map, no towns to explore, no side-quests, no mini-games. Character growth system ripped off FFX, no exp, no levels, full heal after each battle, game over if the char you control gets KO'd... Is it REALLY a Final Fantasy game?

Dreams come true. You just have to be patient and wait. But "wait" doesn't mean just sit and do nothing. If you see a chance - grab it. Get over your shyness, your fears, whatever hinders you - and make a step. "Wait" means "wait for an opportunity", and when it comes - don't let it slip away. It always works for me.
Or maybe it's because all my dreams are so down-to-earth.

Oh well whatever.
Now I have a shiny new Windows7. Oh so happy now to be reinstalling all the stuff I had on my last OS. At least it works faster.
Also, going through a fangirl-phase over Hei from DtB. Who's next I wonder =_= Kinda tired of myself already.
Feel like changing some icons but dunno what to use. SZS? Hei? Lightning? Some randomity? Hah, just too lazy to think it over.
Chrno Crusade manga has been released here in Russia, need to go get a volume on Tuesday.

Um... So. I'm alive and kicking (or something like that). Life is kinda boring as usual with occasional disappointments. Getting your B-day present three weeks AFTER the actual B-day is quite sad. I say "three" because I still haven't got it and (hopefully) will only the next weekend.
In other news, I'm now studying Spanish as my second foreign language and it seems quite interesting (at least singing Manu Chao IS fun). I'm also translating official novelization of Final Fantasy XIII Episode Zero. I'll content myself with at least that because it's VERY unlikely that I'll get a chance to play the actual game =_= Which saddens me to no extent T^T Oh well.
Noticed that I'm swearing quite a lot, especially while talking to myself... err... I mean my thoughts... my inner voice... whatever this shit is called. Well, I do it in everyday speech, but only when talking to my close friends or Veiden (though he doesn't seem to approve).
Also, waiting for Monday because CHATTING WITH GLEN OVER SKYPE YEAH BABY! I miss Glen so fucking much, I know that I'm madly in love with him and can't help it *__*

I'm not a gamer in any way. The only genres I can play more or less decently are TBS (HoMM ftw!) and JRPG (this being limited to FF series lol). Everything else isn't appealing to me mainly because all other genres require quick and strategical thinking (like RTS) or swift reflexes and reaction (like fightings or shooters or hack-and-slashes). And I prefer to have enough time to think over my actions. And of course the chance to start over or load saved games, that's why MMORPGs are not my cup of tea either, except maybe RO, but that's another story.
Nevertheless I somehow managed to finish Diablo 2 and Sacred some years ago and DMC not so long ago. I also like Disciples, Warlords and Etherlords, though HoMM 3 will always remain the №1 TBS for me =) As for JRPG, I've beat FF 4-9 and am currently building up the party for the final showdown with Sin in FFX (side-quests and all, bleh). I've also played Chrono Trigger/Cross, Phantasy Star, Star Ocean 1 and 2, Tales of Phantasia/Destiny/Eternia, Terranigma, BoF IV and some others. Not all of the are completely finished, but are mainly in the final stages. Ah, I need to find some time and finish all of them =_=

Uuuugh... I can't find my gamepad anywhere now T^T Which is SAD because it means I can't use Lulu's overdrive properly and I'll be needing it in the upcoming boss battle. Me and my stupid memory, why do I always forget where I've put things?! And why doesn't my flat have a 'search' function =_= It'd make life so much easier. And I don't want to spend 50$ on a new one =\ WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU STUPID GAMEPAD RRRRR DX
Also studying starts really soon, maybe I should get the schedule at the uni... tomorrow, I guess. I heard we start on September 7 though. Well, that would be sweet, but I still need to know for sure.

Ha-ha... I so seldom post here TT And it's usually nothing of interest. All nice things like translations and stuff go to my @diary, 'cause it's in Russian. And LJ seems like a plain diary about my boring everyday life. But I think it's only natural as I don't talk much about it in my @diary. Still it has to go somewhere, so why not here?
Well, I finished translating FFVIII Ultimania Scenario bits and started FFXII Ultimania Omega Novel (two chapters of nine are done already). From Japanese, of course. To my own surprise it goes quite smoothly. But takes A LOT of time orz Still, I'm determined to get it finished. Hopefully, even before my B-day.

Got back from the country (やっぱり僕は町のものだなぁ), now have so much to do and so little time (as always >_>). Translating, proof-reading, QCing and the organizing all the stuff... Now I'll be checking Monster Collection script, then get down to translating Ultimania bits, after that... maybe subs to Zan SZS? Or most likely I'll go to sleep =_=
My FFVIII obsession (or should i say Squall obsession?) is taking over me yet again. I want to write fics and songfics and minis and whatnot, but... I can't. I can't keep them in-character. And that's why I gave up fic-writing long long ago.

I've been playing DMC. Well, Veiden helped me in some places. Beat the third game today, watched Veiden play the fourth one. First and second felt kinda like fillers, really =\ Dante in DMC2 is too gloomy to my mind, young Dante is much much cooler. And older Dante is... well, there IS what to fangirl over XD As for Vergil... not impressed >_> Данте круче. И веселее =)
Ok, ok, my hands hurt now lol And I still need to get either Power Generator or Energy Crystal to make the Lionheart for Squall =_=

Ah, I had a sore throat, hoarse voice and a fever (about 37.5C, lol). Not the best condition to pass the state exam, but... I passed it. And I got "excellent". I... Damn, I just can't believe it, no, seriously! My answer deserved a "good" with a minus at its best! It's either my teachers love me that much or I have too low self-esteem.

Today I passed one of my final state exams - it was English (included grammar and oral tasks and work with text). Got 49 out of 50 =3 Well, I wasn't even nervous before this exam - I simply knew that I would pass anyway.
The next one is on June 2, and this one's gonna be harder =\ Pedagogy and psychology, with practical tasks. I have to learn a shitload of theoretical material. And that is what I hate the most, because no matter how well i know the subject, I'll always forget something during my answer. Always. Every fucking time, dammit! And that I hate in myself >_>
And lastly, on June 24-26 I'll be presenting my thesis (or whatever this stuff is called... my diploma work? hell, I dunno). And if everything is alright... I'll graduate from the college =3

So. What do we have. Volume 17 of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei features Kafuka on the cover. If Kumeta intends to put all the other girls from 2-H there as well then we can expect at least 15 volumes more. Wow.
